Empowering menstrual health and dignity for all, our vision is to create a world where every girl has access to safe, sustainable, and affordable sanitary products, education, and opportunities to thrive.
Peniel's Girls Charity is dedicated to ensuring that no girl misses school due to lack of sanitary pads.
Workshop and training sessions on menstrual health and hygiene.
We aim to provide access to safe and affordable sanitary products, menstrual education, and hygiene facilities to marginalized communities to empower their health, dignity, and well-being
Our mission is to provide support and resources, targetted at young girls in public secondary schools, fostering confidence and opportunity.
As I reflect on my journey, I remember myself and countless girls in rural areas who face a harsh reality: missing school due to a lack of access to sanitary pads. This painful truth ignited a passion within me to drive change.
Growing up, I experienced and witnessed firsthand the struggles of girls in my community who had no choice but to use unhygienic materials, leading to health risks and deep embarrassment. The stigma surrounding menstruation only made things worse. I realized these girls weren’t just losing out on education—they were being denied equality and dignity.
My motivation for starting this NGO comes from a deep desire to bridge the gap between these girls and their fundamental rights to education, health, and self-worth. I envision a world where no girl has to miss school because of her period, where she can embrace her full potential without fear or shame.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to provide free sanitary pads to public secondary school girls in rural areas, ensuring they stay in school and thrive. Our goals include:
By empowering these young minds, we can break the cycle of poverty, inequality, and social injustice. Together, we can create a future where every girl has the opportunity to succeed.
Join me on this journey to make a lasting impact.

The program has alot of impact on the girls. They really learnt a lot, it gives some of the girls opportunity to make use of sanitary pads for the very first time. Even in classroom, we can see the confidence in them.

The Story of Peniel’s Girls Charity Organization It all started during a simple math class. Kemi was teaching me the basics of mathematics, and during a short break, our conversation took a deeper and profound turn, a heart-to-heart, woman-to-woman discussion. We spoke about the impact we wanted to have in the world, the legacy we hoped to leave behind, and how we could make a difference with what God had placed in our hearts. As I shared my vision, Kemi felt safe enough to discuss about something deeply troubling her, a heart-breaking reality she had witnessed first-hand. Girls living in poverty, unable to afford something as basic as a sanitary pad. I could see the sadness on her face as she described the humiliation these young girls faced, forced to use cloth scraps or fabric instead of proper sanitary products, often leading to genital infections and health complications. Her words struck me deeply. I couldn’t ignore it. I had to do something. Determined to make a difference, I raised funds in the UK, organised collection drives, and sent sanitary pads and funds to Kemi in Nigeria. What started as a small initiative soon grew into something bigger. Today, I am incredibly proud to say that Kemi has officially established Peniel’s Girls Charity Organization, working tirelessly to improve the lives of young girls. Through her organisation, girls not only receive sanitary products but also gain valuable knowledge and life skills: 1️⃣ How to take care of their bodies. 2️⃣ How to use sanitary pads properly. 3️⃣ How to track and understand their menstrual cycle. 4️⃣ Beyond menstrual health, they are also taught self-respect, confidence, and empowerment, shaping them into young women their country can be proud of. Our Vision ???? A world where every girl has access to safe and affordable sanitary products, education, and opportunities, ensuring no girl misses school or suffers due to menstrual health. What started as heart-to-heart, woman-to-woman discussion as now become a transformational movement for change. With love and dedication, Carole SIMB, Matron, Peniel’s Girls Charity Organization
